Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies

@ Frelinghuysen Arboretum

June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.

June is peak butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is about as good a place as any to prove that to your kids. On June 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the whole family can roam the grounds spotting butterflies and the blooms that keep them around, camera in hand. Complete the scavenger hunt and you’ll walk away with a prize, which is a better return on effort than most Wednesday afternoons offer. Cost, registration details, and anything else we couldn’t find are over at the Morris County Parks listing.
