Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies

@ Frelinghuysen Arboretum

June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.

June is peak butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is leaning all the way into that fact. On June 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can work through a photo scavenger hunt tracking down butterflies and the blooms that host them. Finish the whole thing and you’ll walk away with a prize, which is a better reward than most of us get for completing tasks on a Tuesday. Bring your camera, your kids, and a willingness to crouch awkwardly in a flower bed for the perfect shot. Check the Morris County Parks listing for registration details and anything else we couldn’t squeeze out of the source.
