Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies
June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.
June is peak butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is about as good a place as any to prove that to your kids. The scavenger hunt runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 15, sending families through the grounds to photograph blossoms and butterflies in all their colors. Finish the hunt and you get a prize, which is a better reward system than most adult workplaces offer. Bring your phone, bring the kids, and maybe charge the phone first because you will be taking a lot of pictures of things that keep flying away.
