Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies
June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.
June is peak butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is leaning all the way into it. On Monday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can roam the grounds spotting butterflies and the flowers that keep them fed, snapping photos along the way as part of a scavenger hunt. Finish the hunt and you’ll walk away with a prize, which is a better return on investment than most things we’ve covered this month. Bring the kids, bring your phone charged past 12 percent, and give yourself more time than you think you need.
