Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies

@ Frelinghuysen Arboretum

June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.

June is peak butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is about as good a place as any to remind your kids that yes, those colors exist in nature and not just in a crayon box. The scavenger hunt has your family tracking down blossoms and butterflies with a camera in hand, and if you finish it, there’s a prize waiting. It runs 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on June 4th, with other dates available throughout the month. Check the Morris County Parks calendar for the full run of dates and any details we’re too small-time to have dug up.
