Family Photo Scavenger: Blossoms & Butterflies
June is peak butterfly season, and what better place to spot these incredible insects than an arboretum? Bring your family and see all the colors a butterfly can be — and the flowers that support them. Finish the scavenger hunt and get a prize.
June is prime butterfly season, and Frelinghuysen Arboretum is about as good a place as any to prove it. This family photo scavenger hunt runs Wednesday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., sending you through the grounds in search of blooms and butterflies in every color you didn’t realize butterflies came in. Complete the hunt and you’ll walk away with a prize, which is more than we can say for most Wednesday outings. The source listing keeps the finer details close to its chest, so check the Morris County Parks site for registration info, costs, and anything else you’d want to know before you go.
