The Evening Book Club is tackling “The Ministry of Time” by Kaliane Bradley on Tuesday, June 16, from 7 to 8 pm in the F.M. Kirby Gallery at the Morristown Library. The novel follows a civil servant who lands a suspiciously well-paid government gig, only to discover she’ll be hosting a “expat” rescued from history while her bosses figure out whether time travel breaks the human body, the space-time fabric, or both. It’s a genre-blending mix of spy thriller, romance, and historical fish-out-of-water comedy. The club is open to everyone, Morristown resident or not, and you’re welcome even if you only made it halfway through. Copies are waiting at the main circulation desk.
