The Evening Book Club is tackling Kaliane Bradley’s “The Ministry of Time,” a time-travel novel that’s equal parts spy thriller, romance, and meditation on what we owe each other across centuries. The premise: a civil servant is assigned to “host” a soldier extracted from the past, and things get complicated from there. The group meets in the F.M. Kirby Gallery from 7 to 8 pm on Tuesday, June 16, and it’s open to everyone, not just Morristown or Morris Township residents. Copies are waiting at the main circulation desk, and they’ll have you even if you only made it halfway through before life intervened.
