The Evening Book Club takes on Gary Shteyngart’s “Super Sad True Love Story” on Tuesday, October 20, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the F.M. Kirby Gallery at Morristown Library. The novel follows Lenny Abramov, a cholesterol-rich, book-hoarding romantic stumbling through a near-future America in spectacular collapse, which honestly sounds less like fiction every time we check the news. The group is open to everyone, Morris Township resident or not, and you’re welcome even if you only made it halfway through. Copies are held at the main circulation desk, so ask a librarian. Questions go to [email protected] with “Evening Book Club” in the subject line.
