Every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Presbyterian Church in Morristown opens its doors for free 20-minute guided walking tours of one of the oldest congregations in New Jersey, founded in 1733. You’ll hear about Revolutionary War connections, George Washington’s time in town, the church’s stint as a wartime hospital, and how the congregation helped shape the Morristown Green into what it is today. It’s free, open to everyone, runs about 20 minutes, and there’s free parking in the rear for the duration of your visit. We’d call it a hidden gem, but it’s been sitting at 57 East Park Place for nearly 300 years.
