Free, 20 minutes, and you’ll leave knowing more about Morristown than most people who’ve lived here for decades. Every Thursday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, the Presbyterian Church on the Green runs guided walking tours of its campus, covering Revolutionary War connections, George Washington’s time in town, the origins of the Morristown Green, and the fact that this congregation has been here since 1733 (which puts it solidly in the “was already old when your great-great-grandparents were born” category). The church served as a hospital during the Revolution, so there’s real weight to the place. Free parking in the rear for the duration of your visit.
