The sixth installment of the library’s summer scavenger hunt series has a rocks theme, and we mean that literally. Grab a booklet at the Children’s Room, track down 12 hidden pictures tucked around the space, fold each page as you go, and bring it back to the desk for a prize. It runs all day August 7 (and the 8th and 9th as well), so there’s no need to sprint through the door at opening. Open to children and teens, free to attend as part of the library, and a genuinely good excuse to let kids tear through the stacks with a purpose.
