The sixth installment of the library’s summer scavenger hunt series has a geology theme, which we respect. Grab a booklet at the Children’s Room, hunt down 12 hidden pictures scattered around the space, fold each page when you spot one, and return to the Children’s Desk to claim a prize when you’ve found them all. It runs all day August 4 through 9, so there’s no scramble to arrive at a specific time. It’s free, self-paced, and aimed at children and teens. Parking on Miller Road is, as ever, its own adventure.
