The third installment of the library’s summer scavenger hunt series lands on July 16 (and runs through the 19th). Grab a booklet, wander the Children’s Room at 1 Miller Rd, and track down 12 hidden pictures with a “Digging” theme. Fold each page as you find one, bring the finished booklet back to the Children’s Desk, and collect a prize. It’s a self-paced, all-day activity, so there’s no rush to show up at a specific time. Open to children and teens, and the kind of low-key fun that doesn’t require you to plan around a parking meter.
