The Morristown Library’s Children’s Room is hiding 12 Fourth of July pictures for kids and teens to track down, starting July 2nd and running through July 5th. Grab a scavenger hunt booklet, wander the stacks, fold each page when you spot a picture, and return to the Children’s Desk when you’ve found them all to claim a prize. It’s an all-day event, so there’s no scramble to show up at a specific time, which is genuinely refreshing for those of us who are always five minutes late. The hunt runs all four days, so the holiday weekend has an actual reason to stop by the library.
