The Morristown Library’s Children’s Room is running a 4th of July scavenger hunt all day from June 29 through July 5, 2026, and the premise is charmingly low-stakes: grab a booklet, track down 12 hidden pictures tucked around the room, fold each page when you spot one, and return to the Children’s Desk to collect a prize when you’ve found them all. It’s open to children and teens, it’s free to walk in and try, and it’s the kind of activity that takes maybe twenty minutes but feels like a genuine victory. Park on Miller Road and prepare to feel smarter than you did when you walked in.
