The Morristown & Morris Township Library runs a chess club on the first and third Thursday of every month, and this September 3rd session kicks off at 5:30 p.m. in the Reference Room of the 1917 Wing. It’s not a class, so you’ll need to already know your way around a board. All skill levels are welcome, but bring your own chess set and time clock. Think of it as a low-key way to sharpen your game, meet some local competition, and find out whether your opening theory holds up under pressure from a retired engineer who’s been playing since 1974.
