On a Tuesday morning in late July, teaching artist Lisa Madson is setting up in the garden at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum for a watercolor workshop built around one of summer’s better subjects: the sunset. You’ll work from the colors of nature to paint a summer landscape, and all supplies are provided (bring an apron or smock if you want to keep your shirt). The session is open to adult artists at any level, from total beginners to people who actually know what “wet on wet” means. Tickets are $15 per person, or free for Loyalist members and above. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited.
