America's 250th Celebrations
Morristown has always had a head start on the whole “American history” thing, and on September 26, 2026, the town is leaning into that hard. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Living History Weekend puts you inside the places where the Revolution actually unfolded: open houses and tours at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum, the Sansay House, and the Presbyterian Church of Morristown. Over on the Morristown Green, an encampment runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The organizers note that full programming is still being finalized, so check the Town of Morristown’s event page closer to the date for the complete lineup.
