Doors open at 9:15 a.m. and the lecture kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2027, at the Morris Museum. NYU historian and philosopher of science Matthew Stanley is the speaker, and his credentials are not casual: he holds degrees in astronomy, religion, physics, and the history of science, and literally wrote the book on Einstein during wartime (it’s called “Einstein’s War”). The talk promises a portrait of Einstein as a figure shaped as much by World War I, Zionism, and the Nazi rise to power as by any equation, a man who was revolutionary, traditional, and visibly uncomfortable with his own myth. Member early access ticketing opens July 13th; general public sales begin July 20th. Check the Morris Museum site for pricing and availability.
