Second graders who’ve spent the summer with Fabio, the slight and very clever flamingo detective, can bring their theories to the F.M. Kirby Gallery on Wednesday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. for a 30-minute book club discussion about “Fabio the World’s Greatest Flamingo Detective: The Case of the Missing Hippo.” The group is for children entering second grade in the fall, registration is required, and copies of the book are available in the Children’s Room if yours walked off like a certain jazz-singing hippo.
