Second graders who’ve already survived pterosaur attacks on the page can compare notes in person at this book club meetup. The group is reading D.A.T.A: Don’t Disturb the Dinosaurs, in which Dr. Bunsen’s latest questionable invention sends the crew hurtling into the prehistoric era, complete with stomping stegosaurus stampedes and a T-rex who did not get the memo about being friendly. The session runs from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the F.M. Kirby Gallery. It’s open to children entering second grade in the fall, registration is required, and copies of the book are waiting in the Children’s Room.
