Tashmoo
Tucked-away bar with New England-leaning seafood.
Tashmoo takes its name from a Martha’s Vineyard pond, and the menu leans New England with raw-bar oysters, lobster rolls, and seasonal seafood plates beside the standard bar fare. The room has been a Morristown fixture since 2006, one of the early arrivals of the downtown dining renaissance.
Tucked away on Dehart Street and easy to miss, it pulls a steady local cocktail crowd and stays a little quieter than the South Street bars even on weekends. Closed Mondays.
