Two concepts under one roof since 1999: a homemade Italian-style ice cream counter up front and Red Sea Cafe, an Eritrean and Ethiopian kitchen, in back. Run by the same family the whole time.
The Red Sea menu covers the standard injera-and-stews format with vegan, gluten-free, vegetarian, and meat options. A sampler over teff injera is the move for a first visit. Dinner is reservation-only on weeknights 5pm to 8pm and Saturday 4pm to 8pm.
The closest Morristown gets to East African cuisine, and the only place in town pulling that combination off as a single business.
