Rod's Steak & Seafood Grille

Rod’s lives inside the Madison Hotel in Convent Station, just outside Morristown proper, and seats much of its dining inside restored vintage Pullman rail cars wedged into the building. The menu is old-school steakhouse, with a seafood tower and a long Sunday brunch that has been running for decades.

Clubby room, jacketed service, the kind of place that hasn’t moved much in thirty years and is the better for it. A short drive from downtown but worth the trip for a real occasion dinner.
