Roast Coffee House

Roast took over the South Street storefront that held SmartWorld Coffee for 18 years until SmartWorld closed in summer 2024. The new owners, Jesse Mundt and Sally Campuzano, are local real estate professionals who treated the relaunch as a chance to reset the room as a polished sit-and-stay space rather than a grab-and-go.

The drink menu is tight specialty coffee plus a small food case. The interior leans into design more than the typical downtown cafe; bench seating, long counter, plenty of natural light. Closed Mondays.
