Coniglio's Old Fashioned

Owner Nino Coniglio holds ten World Pizza Championship titles out of Salsomaggiore, Italy, and Coniglio’s Old Fashioned is where he runs an old-school New York playbook on South Street. The lineup covers round pies, square pan, and Sicilian, all out of a wood-fired deck oven.

The room is small and bright with retro touches, and the kitchen pushes pizza by the slice during the day before the dinner rush takes over. Stays busy on weekends without ever feeling fussy.
